MFA :: Today's Farmer magazine

A few months ago I posted the redesign of the MFA Today's Farmer magazine. Only this issue is a little different because I actually had the opportunity to start designing it because the other graphic designer was away at a conference. I'd venture to guess I prepared about 85-90% of this issue and then handed it back to be finalized and sent to press.

The cover on the right is the redesigned cover of the issue I designed. I also got to choose the images... and I must have done a good job, because none of them were traded out. It was a fun project.
This is a story that started and ended within this two-page spread.
UPfront is a section scattered with quick and informational news bites... so graphics, illustrations and colored blocks draw you from story to story.
I guess what I'm saying today is that it's very satisfying to me that, one... I redesigned the magazine, and two... I got the opportunity to actually prepare an issue for publication.
